Description
This tender involves the contracting of an integrated technology service to implement and operate the Red Regional app and its associated systems, including: mobile application, web-based administration platform, APIs, and operational infrastructure.
The scope includes development and integration, certification testing, and commissioning, as well as continuous operation, support, and maintenance under defined service-level agreements (SLAs).
The solution must operate 24/7, scale across multiple cities, and meet stringent performance requirements, including: capacity for 1,000,000 monthly active users, real-time processing of up to 15,000 buses, and data updates as frequently as every 30 seconds
Who can apply?
Companies, consortia, or international systems integrators may apply, provided they have proven capabilities to:
- Implement and operate high-availability mobile and web platforms, including APIs and backend services.
- Integrate data and systems from the transport ecosystem, using standards and sources such as AVL, GTFS, and GTFS-RT, enabling real-time operations
- Ensure service continuity through monitoring, support, and maintenance, meeting SLA requirements and incorporating best practices for personal data protection.
