The project is for the widening, improvement, maintenance and operation of Routes 202 and 206 in the Los Ríos region. At 44.3 km and 43.1 km long, respectively, both are planned as two-lane highways with service speeds of 120 km/h and 100 km/h, with occasional 80 km/h areas.
The project includes replacing existing bridges and constructing new bridges, as well as pedestrian walkways, bus stops, and interchanges.

The work involves improvements to Route 5 in the province of Chiloé along an extension of 126 km and a route that crosses the districts of Ancud, Dalcahue, Castro and Chonchi. The new facility will be located on state-owned land near Route 5 North, approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) northwest of the city of Copiapó and 14 kilometers (9 miles) south of the Desierto de Atacama Airport, in the Atacama Region.
The architectural proposal includes a total area of approximately 76,600 m2, with an estimated capacity of 2,160 inmates, distributed across 15 detention modules.
